Timber Lanes, Dryden Register Today
Sunset Country 5-pin Bowlers' Association has been supporting and representing the sport of Five-Pin Bowling in North-Western Ontario for many years. Thomas Ryan invented the game in 1909, but SCBA took off in the 1960's, when we had six bowling centers in Kenora, Dryden, Balmertown, Red Lake, Ignace, Atikokan, and Fort Frances. Today, there are 28 lanes in four active centers in Kenora, Dryden, Balmertown, and Ignace. We are a proud and active member of the Northern Ontario 5-pin Bowlers' Association, with several representatives serving on the Provincial Association.
As our demographic shifts into a new generation, we are continually scheduling courses to train coaches and officials.
